I'm just a sinner saved by God's grace! I am overly analytical and often too opinionated. I love to learn and seek out knowledge. Along with that comes a great desire to share what I have learned with others. I'm not perfect, and I may even be wrong sometimes. So, I open myself up to criticism and try to temper my beliefs with it.

Beliefs

I am a Bible believing Christian, specifically of the Independent Fundamental Baptist variety. I believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible and accept the KJV as the perfectly inspired and preserved Word of God. See my page on faith to learn more about what I believe and why I believe it.

Computers

I am a vocal supporter of OSS such as Linux (GNU/Linux for those of you picky about such things). I think that all web pages and browsers should conform to the rules set by the W3C. I despise Microsoft. I think it's a shame that people use the word "hacker" to mean the opposite of what it has been from the start. I would aspire to be called a hacker.

Politics

While my values are generally conservative, I am an Independent as I don't believe that political parties benefit the nation. I believe that the government should never legislate morality, but that without faith in God by our people and politicians our nation will crumble. That puts me into an unusual category. I support the Bill of Rights as it was written and believe that on all matters where the constitute does not give the authority to the federal government, the states should have control. I adamantly oppose abortion as it is the taking of human life. I hate recreational drug use with a passion, but believe that where it does not directly effect another unwilling person, it's use should be legal on the federal level. I vocally support Ron Paul in his run for president.
